Medical Students,

I’d like to relay a message from Dr. Kimi Kondo, DO, FSIR regarding resources to applying to Radiology residencies.  We hope that the following message is useful for you all in your application process.

The Alliance of Medical Student Educators in Radiology (AMSER) is a national organization for academic radiologists with a particular interest in medical student education.  Their membership includes SIR attendings who are involved in med student education. Their current president, Kimi Kondo, DO is an SIR Active Member and member of SIR’s Student and Resident Committee (SARC).

We’d like for you to be aware of AMSER’s webpage “Resources for Applying to Residency” that has the AMSER Guide to Applying to Radiology Residency” which can be accessed here:  http://www.aur.org/Secondary-Alliances.aspx?id=161

Here is another way to access the resources:

  1. Go to the AUR website (www.aur.org)
  2. Click on the button “Affinity Groups/SIGS”
  3. Click on the button “AMSER”
  4. Click on button “Medical Student Resources” (also listed on the left hand column)
  5. Click on button “Applying to Diagnostic Radiology Residency”
