The Seldinger Society, JHU School of Medicine’s Interventional Radiology Interest Group, hosted its first annual Medical Student Symposium in the Chevy Chase Auditorium on April 16, 2016.
On December 3rd, 2015, the IRIG at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) held its first skills workshop at the conclusion of the fall semester. Students had the opportunity to get full tours of the IR department, meet faculty and residents, and attain hands-on experience in IR by rotating through three hands on stations.
On March 14, 2015, the 1st Annual Midwest Interventional Radiology Medical Student Symposium was held in Chicago, Illinois. The Symposium was a collaborative effort of six medical schools: The University of Chicago, Medical College of Wisconsin, University of Illinois at Chicago, Loyola University, Rush University and Northwestern University.
