Interested in establishing an IR Clinic at your institution?
The goal of the SIR RFS Resident Clinic Committee is to promote the clinical model of Interventional Radiology practice at the resident and fellow level by supporting trainees becoming disease experts and focusing on longitudinal patient care. Comprehensive knowledge of the disease process, evaluation of the patient and follow up management are critical components of becoming a clinical disease based interventional radiologist. The IR clinic setting is the most relevant, germane and opportune setting to build a repertoire of clinical skills during Diagnostic Radiology residency. If you are interested in developing a resident IR clinic at your institution or would like some more information, please contact us.
